Air Products was very proud to be asked to speak at the Houses of Parliament recently as part of the British Education Awards ceremony hosted by Ivan Lewis MP.
STEM ambassador, Lynn Willacy, was asked to share why Air Products support the awards and what we do as a company to help inspire the next generation. Lynn also had the honour to present some of the awards.
The students, who were winners at the prestigious British Education Awards in January, were invited to receive their certificates, and celebrated their achievements with their teachers and families in Ivan Lewis's chamber in the impressive Portcullis House.
The students were delighted to take part in the day and the parents were understandably very proud of their son's and daughter's achievements. Various MPs attended the event and it was great to see the students' successes and Excellence in Education being recognised by the UK Government.
The British Education Awards are open to all students in the UK and Air Products is proud to be sponsoring the awards again in 2020, which will be our third year as a headline sponsor.
